Lannacombe Beach

Type
Remote, quiet beach with extensive length of shingle, coarse sand and rock flats backed by a low rubble cliff. Extends from Sharpers Head to Malcombe Point.
Ownership
Privately owned.
Access
Coast path across top of beach from Start Point to East Prawle. Private road access at the end of the public highway from Kellaton. The beach is situated 25m from the car park. Access via a cobbled ramp down to sand. Closed at 8pm. No vehicular access beyond small parking area.
Disabled access
Disabled access is possible via concrete slipway from car park down to beach.
Parking
Privately owned car park. Charges apply. 15 spaces. 25m from beach. Please note that in the summer the few parking spaces can fill up very early in the morning and the site gets very congested.

None.
Lifeguard
None.
Activities
Good swimmimg beach, suitable water area for young children when supervised, coastal walks.
Dogs
No known restrictions, but please read the FAQs.
Barbecues
Not permitted. Fires - not permitted.
Slipway access
Small concrete slipway.
