Access

There are 11 concrete steps with a handrail from the road down to the beach at the main access point.

Disabled access

Access onto the beach via a ramp onto soft sand at the northern end of the beach.

Parking

Private car parking in caravan site. Charges apply. 75 spaces. 35m from beach.

Facilities

Refreshments in holiday season and beach shop (50m), toilets (100m), and cash machine at holiday park.

Lifeguard

RNLI lifeguard service operates 18th May to 29th September.

Activities

Coastal walks. Popular surfing beach.

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted on the beach at any time of day between 1st May and 30th September inclusive.

Barbecues

Allowed in daytime only, no evening or night parties. Please read the FAQs.

Slipway access

Slipway owned by Challaborough Bay Holiday Park with barrier to control access.
