Last week, Nicky our Communities Officer and Adam our Project Officer had the wonderful opportunity to undertake a site visit to Coleton Fishacre with Gordon from The Disabled Ramblers and Tim from the National Trust English Riviera.
Gordon was helping advise Nicky and Adam about the creation of more accessible paths around Coleton Fishacre and Greenway. It is important that everyone is able to enjoy access to these paths!
We hope to have some exciting news in the New Year about funding to make these paths suitable for disabled visitors and look forward to working closely with Gordon and The National Trust English Riviera to make it happen.
It was a wonderful walk with some beautiful views, and Nicky, Tim and Adam all learnt a lot from Gordon and how to grade walks for wheelchair users.
